Oceanfront Camping Near Topsail Beach, North Carolina

Although it has only officially been in existence less than 50 years, Topsail Beach, North Carolina, is rich in tradition and history. The city was developed and run by the U.S. Navy in the middle of the 20th century as a starting point for the space program and what is now NASA. However, no matter how Topsail Beach came about, the beaches are the main attraction for visitors to the area. Topsail Beach is one of the cities on the 26-mile Topsail Island where swimming, surfing, fishing and other water activities are possible.
